My little boy must be very happy in his own room, because he slept this morning until 8:30! Normally he sleeps until 6:00 because my hubby wakes him up when he goes to work. Bless him :)

Gorgeous wedding
I went to some damn good wedding in my life and this one is one of them. Where shall I start... Bride and groom looked stunning. All bridesmaids were dressed in gorgeous light pink dresses. Obviously I was one of them. The food was amazingly good and there was a barman who was making whatever fancy cocktail you wanted (obviously all drinks on Polish weddings are free). The band was great playing traditional Polish wedding songs as well as modern ones. Newly weds organised lots of games and careoke (I had a go few times :). No wander party finished at 6:00 in the morning. It was weird to go to bed when everyone was already awake... But honestly guys we all had fabulous time. There is just few photos from that day.
Holidays in Croatia
I would like to share with you some pictures and memories from our holidays to Croatia. At first we didn't know where to go but because we travelled by car all the way from UK (I know- it's crazy!) we wanted it to be as close to the border as possible. For our place of destination we chose a little and charming town called Poreč located on the western coast of the Istrian peninsula in Croatia. It was a good choice because the place was beautiful as well as packed with history. We went to visit 6th century Euphrasian Basilica, travelled around Istrian peninsula, seen some beautiful beaches and relaxed next to the hotel pool. The hotel we stayed at was called valamar. I have to admit that the food was extremely delicious. We went for the "full board" option and we regretted it at first, because we like to go to local restaurants and try some traditional food, but we skipped few dinners in the hotel and went out on the food adventure anyway. Anyway we had a fabulous time and we took some trips I'm going to tell you about later. There is lots of photos for you to have a look at.
Photos arrived
Hello everyone! It feels like winter in the air. Last night the winds were so strong that you could hear weaselling and that's what was waking my little boy all night. Because he is such a good boy we didn't have to help him to go back to sleep because he can already settle himself. He is using his little thumb to do that. I'm so proud of him. Last week I ordered photos to put them in to my albums and two posters to go on the wall in JJ's room. I will shall you later. I have to ask my handy man to fit it on the wall first. Even tho I create web albums with lots of photos each month I think that there is something really magical about holding an album full of beautiful memories. I ordered two posters and now I've got a dilemma which one to hung on the wall. Which picture would you use?

Last night
I had the worst night ever. Because we moved Jacob's bed in to his bedroom I was worried sick about him sleeping all on his own. I felt a bit sorry for him because I had my hubby to cuddle to and he was there all on his ow :( I was checking baby monitor every half an our (probably I would do it more often but my hubby was angry that I wake him up). I hope to have better night today... That's him this morning :)
Nappy cake
My small sister is pregnant, so I decided to make something nice and useful for her, and what could be more useful than a nappy cake... It's so easy to make and pretty calming task. If anyone want's to make it than all you need to have is:
- pack of nappies
- fabrics
- scissors
- elastic bands
- some goodies (toys, socks, cosmetics)
- base (could be cut out of a cardboard box)
- roll or two out of a paper towel
- ribbons
For the base you will need to roll 18 nappies and tie each nappy and all of them with an elastic band. For the middle layer you will need 6 nappies and for the top just one. You have to cover it with some fabrics and decorate with ribbons and presents. That's it!
I also bought some cute things for her little princess. That's some of them. What do you guys think?

New highchair
We had rather relaxing weekend but quite exiting as well. We moved Jacob's bed to his bedroom, so it's his first night in his own bedroom tonight. He turned 6 months last week, so we thought that the earlier he starts sleeping on his own the better. We got Jacob a high chair as well. Just in case anyone wonders we got it from here and accessory pack here.
We had a few little visitors as well. Jacob's cousins and grandparents came over for a cap of tea and cake. They are so good with Jacob. I'm starting to think that it would be nice if Jacob had little sister or brother to play with. He was trying to poke Poppy and pull her hair and they were stroking and tickling him. It was fun to watch :)

Jacob's bedroom
Even tho Jacob is still not sleeping in his room I wanted his room to be finished before he was born. I was so stressed out that we will not have enough time when he is born, and I wanted everything to be perfect for him. I generally think that girls rooms are so much cuter and easier to decorate, so I couldn't decide what colors to go for in Jacob's bedroom. I went for blue and green because I wanted his room to be colorful and classy at the same time. I made few things myself because I'm crazy about color coordination. Blinds, bedclothes, cushions and after yesterday big toy box as well are made out of the same fabric. It was quite a challenge for me because I couldn't you a sawing machine before. Now I can make simple things myself and it is so much more fun. What do you think guys? Do you have any tips to make it look better?

Steve & Ginny's wedding
Last month we went to celebrate Steve & Ginny's wedding which was held in Guernsey. The whole ceremony was organised to perfection. The bride looked absolutely gorgeous, brides maids looked stunning and groom looked really well too. The wedding was in a lovely church and the reception in St. Pierre Park Hotel (the same hotel we were staying in). If anyone is planning to go to Guernsey than I can totally recommend this hotel. The hotel has all important facilities like swimming pool, gym, golf course, shops, hairdressers and a lovely park with a lake for some romantic walks. There is some pictures from that lovely day for you to have a look at.
Just in case any of you wanders I bough this dress here
The reception was fabulous! I absolutely loved table centerpieces.
